Did you know that Reynoldsburg is known as The Birthplace of the Tomato? Alexander W. Livingston developed the Paragon Tomato which is thought to be first tomato grown for commercial use. His former home, Livingston House and Museum, is located on Graham Road and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Homes. Livingston’s spirit lives on each year in August at the Tomato Festival. The festival celebrates Reynoldsburg’s role as the birthplace of the tomato and features a variety of vendors serving tomato based food dishes as well as games, and entertainment.
